I had the privilege of shooting Megan and Jim’s rehearsal dinner at Carmelo’s in downtown Austin. I knew the wedding day was going to be special when I arrived and everyone was talking to each other, hugging, laughing, and Megan and Jim weren’t even there yet! A special moment that stood out to me during the dinner is when Megan and Jim stood up to give some direction for the following day and uncle mark had a question about the shuttle taking everyone to the venue from the hotel and wondering if the bus were to leave anyone behind. Everyone busted out laughing and Jim responded saying “Its alright we will make sure you get on the shuttle.”
Their whole day was so nice and special and a lot had to do with the love the whole family had for each other. Villa St. Clair is a very nice venue and is built for weddings, the staff is always great to work with and it makes for the wedding day to go smoothly and be at its best.
Getting to interview Megan and Jim before the ceremony was special to see and hear the excitement the two of them had for this special occasion. The ceremony was very special and it was easy to see the Love everyone had for the lovely couple.
During the cocktail hour everyone mingled and got to listen to and amazing saxophone player all while eating and enjoying the photo-booth.
The reception was a blast with the heartwarming speeches of everyone alongside hilarious stories and what seemed like an un-ending dance party!
