When Mila and I met with Mary for the first time we knew that this wedding was going to be a special one. We talked about different options for making their day the best as possible and Mary was orginized and ready to go which makes our job and the over all day amazing.
When we pulled up to the venue we were amazed by cute chapel next to the lake with a huge fountain shooting into the air. It was like this venue was thought up by a million brides who wanted the absolute best layout for their day.
We made our way up to the house where Mary was getting ready and we were amazed at how awesome Publito Veijo was. the house was gorgeous and was set up for whatever a wedding day would call for. We started capturing as Mary and her family got ready and we could tell the love they have for each other was going to make this day very special.
We went up to see Gustavo and capture him getting ready as well and all of his daughters were there helping him making sure he was ready for the ceremony. We captured a very special moment when I was interviewing Gustavo and a rush of emotions hit him and everyone in the room. Directly after I told Mila that moment is why we do what we do, its to capture memories that will last.
The ceremony began and there were tears of joy and all over it was so special. As the day went on the couple did a special dance called “La Vibora” (as seen in the picture below where they are standing on chairs) The Ladies went first as they were holding hands and dancing around. Then it was the guys turn and they were trying to knock Gustavo of his chair and they did! after they knocked him down one of the guys grabbed him and started carrying Gustavo to a fountain where he proceeded to throw him in. Luckily Gustavo had a extra suit to put on and come back out to party.
Being a part of this special day made me realize that what we do has more importance than just a job but it could be life changing if we do it right and still I’m always honored when people choose me to capture their special moments.
Congrats Mary and Gustavo and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
